Long Island Singer To Entertain Resort Crowd

MASSAPEQUA PARK, N.Y. - June 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Long Island Singer John Cannella will be appearing at the Hudson Valley Resort In upstate New York on June 15, 2013. The singer has who has gained local notoriety for his "Songs of The Greats" will entertain resort guests from all over the country who will be attending one of the largest custom auto shows in the U.S.. Johnny The Oldies Singer as he is known professionally,  was once dubbed " a rockin crooner" by a colleague given his diversity of sound. Johnny can be crooning one minute and rockin out the next and so he is not inclined to be "boring" notes a reviewer. Cannella who has his roots in the New York City doowop scene of the 60's migrated to more classic standards over the years but still performs many of the doowop classics of the 50's and 60's using the skills he developed and honed as a lead group vocalist. Today says Cannella " my meat and potatoes is songs of Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Englebert, Johnny Mathis, Bobby Darin and Neil Diamond. But my first love will always be the group sounds. I absolutely love the harmonic sounds of the groups and enjoy doing songs of the Drifters, Duprees, Four Seasons, Platters and Beatles to name a few." Johnny predominantly entertains at private parties doing weddings, anniversary, birthday and holiday parties as well as corporate events and fine club and restaurant appearances.
