NEW REGULATIONS DISCUSSED

Molet and Richardson will share information about the upcoming Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) regulatory approaches in the European Union (EU), as well as the effects of environmental regulations in the EU. They will also discuss the impact that the new Federal Trade Commission guidelines in the U.S. will have on packaging and communications about packaging.

The webinar will include, in addition, qualitative approaches for assessing a product’s environmental features as well as its environmental claims. The presenters bring considerable experience and diverse perspectives to the topic. Molet, who has been with SGS since 2008, is an established system engineer and leads the French Ecodesign team on a diverse range of projects. Richardson is a sustainability consultant at SGS, where he supports clients’ sustainability efforts by helping them measure, reduce and communicate their environmental impact using LCA and other tools.
