Assisting Hands Bergen County opened May 1, 2013 by New Jersey native Mark Stappenbeck, 44, a former operations manager on Wall Street. It is located at 140 North State Route 17, Suite 250 in Paramus and will serve Bergen county and Northern New Jersey. “We are delighted about the opportunity to serve the community,” said Stappenbeck, who worked at Credit Suisse Bank for 21 years. “I chose the Assisting Hands Home Care system because of the size and flexibility of the company as well as the integrity of the core group.” Stappenbeck believes the quality of his caregivers combined with customer service will differentiate him from other in-home, non-medical caregiving services in the area. He became a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) in April. According to the CSA website, www.csa.us, the senior market is growing exponentially – 50 percent more people are turning 65 each year right now compared to the year before. There is an incredible need – and opportunity – for professionals to serve the number of seniors that is dramatically increasing every day. Stappenbeck is married to Patricia, and has two sons and a daughter. About Assisting Hands Home Care Assisting Hands Home Care began in 2005 and is based upon Dr. Gail Silverstein’ End
