LAS VEGAS - June 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort (http://www.skilasvegas.com/winter/index.html) (LVSSR) announces the final days for big savings on its 2013/14 season passes. Now through Saturday, June 8, 2013, skiers and snowboarders can save up to 55 percent off of in-season pricing for LVSSR’s five season pass options. Season passes can be purchased online at www.skilasvegas.com.

Saturday, June 8 is National Get Outdoors Day and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. LVSSR and GO Mt. Charleston (http://www.gomtcharleston.com), an organization encouraging exploration, education and volunteerism within the Spring Mountains Recreation Area, are hosting a free event.  The day’s activities include “how to” demonstrations on camping, hiking and other activities conducted by local outdoor recreation experts. Open to adults and children, there will be fun interactive experiences and Smokey the Bear will make a special appearance.  The event will be held on the patio of the lodge.

Summer sale pricing for 2013/14 season passes is as follows:

         Youth Unlimited:          $199

         Unrestricted season pass for ages 17 & under/includes License to Ride

         Adult Unlimited:          $449

         Unrestricted season for ages 18 & over

         Military Pass:          $299

         Unrestricted season pass for active duty members of the military

         Battle Born Pass*:          $249

         Nevada residents with ID, 18 & over

         Midweek Pass*:          $199

         Monday – Friday access for ages 18 & over

*Additional season pass benefits vary on purchased pass.  Battle Born and Midweek passes do not include friends/family tickets and have various blackout dates throughout the year.  For a full list of season pass benefits and blackout dates, please visit www.skilasvegas.com. Other exclusions may apply.  Age brackets are based on the pass holder’s age at purchase date.

The 2013/14 season is expected to kick off on Friday, November 22, weather permitting.
