Slawsa -It's So Slawesome! Who'd Thought They Could Make it Better?

NEW YORK - June 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Slawsa is proud to announce that the entire Slawsa line will be transitioning into a 100% All-Natural and kosher certified recipe, without sacrificing quality and flavor.  Consumers will soon take notice in the coming months as a slight label modification will reflect this positive change for the brand.  

“We’ve always been fat-free, cholesterol-free, gluten-free and very low in sodium so it was just a natural progression to make sure we moved to an all-natural recipe, one that would be widely accepted by all,” says Nicole Foods partner Julie Busha. “In fact, we received a great deal of interest from All Natural retail channels right from the start, because of our uniqueness. But, we wanted to make sure we were fully tested to ensure the recipe transition would be a success, without sacrificing quality or flavor.”

In addition to their popular Original and Spicy flavors, effective immediately, Slawsa is also adding both Garlic and Garlic Spicy varieties to its line.

“We really saw a demand for a garlic version, primarily stemming from the northeast United States where garlic is used more in everyday cooking,” says Busha. “While most companies would be more apt to use a garlic power as a cheaper alternative to achieve this flavor profile, you can really tell the difference in the overall quality with the mined garlic that we felt was necessary to maintain Slawsa’s high standards.”

Launching just over one year ago, Slawsa can now be found in over 4,200 grocery retailers nationwide from gourmet shops to mainstream retail, primarily merchandised in the relish section.  With recent features by the likes of Entrepreneur and EveryDay with Rachael Ray Magazine, Slawsa is ideal to top hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, pork and fish yet is versatile as a sandwich spread, atop eggs or as a dip for tortilla chips.  

Slawsa will be making its Summer Fancy Food Show debut next month in booth #5006 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City, from June 30th to July 2nd.
