L3 Technologies Hires Raul Velazquez as Part of Its Senior Engineering Team.

MCALLEN, Texas - June 4, 2013 - PRLog -- McAllen, TX, June 3, 2013 - L3 Technologies is pleased to announce its recent hire of Raul Velazquez who has joined its Cisco Engineering Team as a senior systems engineer. Mr. Velazquez comes to L3 with years of Cisco engineering experience with a double CCIE certification in routing & switching and security.  “Having a Senior Engineering Team with 3 Cisco CCIE certifications makes us a huge asset in the Rio Grande Valley,” stated Vice-President of Sales and Operations, Xavier Trevino. “There is no other local company that can say they have the same caliber of team.”

Mr. Velazquez’s proven background and overall senior level of experience will help ensure L3 Technologies continues to grow at a record pace, allowing the company to advance its leadership position within the technology market in the Rio Grande Valley.

Velazquez has worked both domestically and internationally. Impressive past projects include working as the Routing and Switching technical leader during the design and implementation of the Data Center of the Mexican IRS (SHCP) as well as the Routing and Switching design and implementation of the Data Center for the Mexican Public Security (SSP).

In addition to his many years as a Cisco engineer, Velazquez has also written a CCNA course book in Spanish which will now be available through L3’s Training Center.
