Ms. New England America 2013

-- Dr. Stephanie Mills was recently named Ms. New England America 2013 and will compete for the title of Ms. America on June 23, 2013 – 7:00pm at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa Resort Hotel which is located at 3050 Bristol Street, Costa Mesa, California. The competition will be a four day pageant with contestants from around the country. The Ms. America® Pageant will award over $40,000 in gift and prizes at this year’s national finals.
Dr. Mills is the founder and Clinic Director of Crossroads Chiropractic, one of the largest chiropractic offices in New Hampshire. Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Science Summa Cum Laude from Regent’s College. She then earned her Doctorate Summa Cum Laude from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Mills was on the President’s List and named as a Presidential Scholar upon her October 2000 graduation. In 2009 and 2011, she was honored to be named as one of America’s Top Chiropractors. Currently, Dr. Mills is only chiropractor in New Hampshire to have earned the postgraduate Certified Wellness Practitioner distinction from the International Chiropractic Association. In addition, Dr. Mills is a contributing writer for The Chiropractic Journal, a trade publication distributed internationally. In addition to other recognitions, Stephanie was awarded the President’s Call to Service Award for her lifetime volunteerism in 2011.
Dr. Stephanie currently spends time facilitating her own community outreach program, which promotes health and wellness through lifestyle choices and is an advocate for PTSD Awareness. To share her message, lectures for state and national organizations as well as hosts her own weekly radio show “Half Hour to Health” on 107.7FM in New Hampshire. Last year Stephanie embarked on a week-long mission trip to Santa Cruz, Bolivia where she and a team gave chiropractic adjustments at seven different orphanages as well as distributed vitamins and books for the children. This coming September Dr. Stephanie plans travel to the Dominican Republic and Haiti as part of another chiropractic mission trip to benefit underprivileged children.
In her spare time Stephanie enjoys traveling, boating, riding her motorcycle, doing Pilates and spending time with her beautiful daughters, Brooke (14) and Emilee (11). If it sounds like she is too busy for anything else, Stephanie will disagree… her motto is, “If you want something done, give it to a busy person!”
