Christin Petroski Joins Midland Office of Warner Norcross

MIDLAND, Mich. - June 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Midland, Michigan, June 3, 2013 – Christin Decker Petroski has joined the Midland office of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP.

Petroski concentrates her practice in corporate law with an emphasis on transactions, including corporate acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, reorganizations and new markets tax credit transactions.  In that capacity, she negotiates and drafts agreements among owners, buy-sell agreements and other documents related to ownership and governance, as well as general commercial contracts including arrangements with vendors, customers and independent contractors.  

Petroski works regularly with public and private companies in a variety of industries, including automobile racing and manufacturing, engineering, restaurants, food service and others.  She also has experience with non-profit formation, securing tax-exempt status and other business matters.

Prior to joining Warner Norcross, Petroski was an attorney with Holland & Knight LLP, a global law firm with 21 offices in the United States, China, Mexico and other countries.  She practiced in the firm’s Orlando office.

Petroski was very involved in the Orlando community, serving on the board of the Children’s Home Society, Orlando Day Nursery and Dress for Success.  She is a graduate of Leadership Orlando.  She is a member of the Florida Bar Association.

Petroski holds a bachelor of psychology magna cum laude from Florida State University and her doctor of jurisprudence magna cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she was Order of the Coif.

A native of Lake Butler, Fla., she now resides in Midland with her husband, Jacob, a Midland native and their daughter, Ava.
