New Book Delivers Science-Fiction to Fans – With A Fantasy Twist

LAKE, U.K. - June 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Fresh Publishing has just released their first science-fiction title, Converging Fates by Jonathan Cortez. This debut novel offers a science-fiction tale with elements of fantasy thrown in. This is the first title in the Reagent Universe series.

Converging Fates is an action novel set in a parallel universe, where cyber-humans and elves are highly advanced civilizations that have to work together despite ancient grief to save their universe.

Jonathan Cortez, the author, is a student at Penn State Behrend. He largely taught himself the craft, and is a huge fan of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Battlestar Galactica. This is his debut novel, but he is already working on the sequel.

The book is available both as a trade paperback and an ebook on Amazon, CreateSpace, and Smashwords, among other retailers.
