WELLINGTON, New Zealand - June 2, 2013 - PRLog -- The sixth instalment of the GUIOPERA, which stands for Graphical User Interface Opera and is pronounced Gooey-Opera, is the fold to iron out wrinkles in the SASBWAH or the story about the story being written—a validation of sorts. Both the premise and the pseudo reality in which all of etfiction is based are confirmed early on to bring new readers up to speed and to reward the vigilant who have followed the sometimes elongated prose with a purpose over the years.

The premise is that a novice writer, who writes in his own genre—etfiction (Emotional Techno Fiction)—a subgenre of Metafiction which utilises devices like how the author is a character in the story, is an operative from the Cold War. Post 9/11 in a scramble to reconnect nodes of the Network, a secret sect that connected the New World Order and the Underworld—the Poet Soldier, a mastermind for operatives from the underbelly of the sect emerges online with a new cloaking device for old and new agents to follow in chaotic times.

The story is based on characters of a crack unit made up of young talented misfits assembled from the world over in the early ‘80s in a strategic move to infiltrate the corruption filled corridors of power. The team named LMLA-ink after its founding members: Lazoo, Metofeaz, Le Mac & Afamasaga is renowned for its appeal to the masses, none more gripping than the performance of their leader, and author of the work distributed online in the eBooks and the GUIOPERA at http://etfiction.com.

GUIOPERA VI starts out in the Midwest of the U.S, with Rocky or Rochelle Lockley at the tender age of seven consoling her dad when it’s suggested that Rocky’s mother has left them. Traces of Lazoo’s story as a child also from the Midwest creep in when a shiny red bike, like Janine Elton’s birthday present to her boy, which she ended up having to ride to see her son being taken from her by authorities in a paddock in Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin appears in Rocky’s yard.

A distinguishing feature of the GUIOPERA is each chapter has three parts to it. This means the story is able to carry three threads simultaneously. In GUIOPERA 6, Part 1 is dedicated to Rocky’s story and in Part 2 we’re introduced to Saxon Smith growing up on the Farm, a place where children of Network operatives or gifted children taken by the state are reared. In part 3 we meet Jonomy or Jon Le Mac, whose perspective is the global view for the GUIOPERA this year. He and Tone Horroh are kids on the run, after Tone kills a man who took the boys in and then molested them.

In chapter 1 we fast-forward to 2008. Rocky is a stripper in Atlanta. Saxon Smith has just finished doing time. Jonomy faces the fact that the Poet Soldier is back after years in the wilderness. To make things interesting Tone has assumed the Poet Soldier’s role as leader of LMLA-ink, using the novice author’s identity. The ensuing saga unfolds online in front of captivated audience casting them in a once in a lifetime role, a part in the phenomenon of our times, a feat never to be witnessed again….
