By: Black and Latino Filmmaker's Coalition The 4 hour workshop teaches attendees how to properly format screenplays, how to build a great screenplay, how to defeat writers block and how to complete a screenplay in record time. Workshop topics include: Fundamentals and Scripts Elements; Storytelling and Screenplay Writing; Character Development and Dialogue; and Preparing the First Draft. Workshop instructor Anthony Calyspo is a fiction, non-fiction writer and filmmaker from Nyack currently living in Brooklyn, NY. He is credited with being a researcher on El cantante (Nuyorican Productions) This workshop is specifically designed for those who are finding trouble getting started or completing their scripts. Workshop location is provided upon registration. Space is limited. Workshop hours are from 10am-2pm. Workshop preregistration is $40 (deadline June 7). On site registration will be $65.
