STAMFORD, Conn. - May 31, 2013 - PRLog -- Pierson Requirements Group has announced an upcoming Virtual Agile Requirements Gathering & Release/Sprint Planning Training on June 24-26. The workshop is divided into three, half-day sessions that will cover a variety of topics related to Agile Projects.
Pierson Requirements Group takes an innovative approach in regards to business analyst training programs, and the Agile Requirements Gathering course is no exception. Businesses are often limited on funds for continuing education, and the cost of travel and lodging can be out of reach. With Pierson Requirements Group, high-quality business analyst training programs are offered in an online, virtual format. Like the rest of the courses, the Agile Requirements Gathering workshop incorporates hands-on learning, teacher-led discussions and collaborative work, such as through case study exercises.
This particular business analyst training seminar focuses on the project team skill set that is required to partake in Agile Projects in an effective manner. Participants will learn how to identify the agile project goals, epics and functional requirements that are involved in use cases and user stories. Participants will also carry out daily scrums and take a look at backlog stories for release/sprint planning. The workshop has many objectives, including how to use high-level use cases and identifying sprints and user stories.
Business analysts of all skill levels can participate in the Agile Requirements Gathering workshop, as the training starts off with an introduction to Agile Development and understanding scrum roles and responsibilities. When the best practices for Agile Requirements are discovered, participants will then delve deeper into communication techniques, collaboration techniques and tactics for success. The second and third days of the workshop take a closer look at the best practices for Agile Requirements using case study exercises. The seminar concludes with an exercise on defining an iteration and building a backlog.
Pierson Requirements Group will offer the business analyst training course on June 24-26. The three half-day sessions are from 1-5 pm EST and include a mix of case study exercises, instructor-led discussions and virtual learning opportunities.
