Starkey Mortgage’s Builder Services Division Reports Successful First Term; Expands to Support NC
Starkey Mortgage’s Builder Services program offers excellent home mortgage lending with professional marketing assistance to homebuilders in GA, SC, AL, and now NC.

“Starkey Mortgage was one of the first to recognize that homebuilding was coming back and that homebuilders needed additional assistance and resources in order to re-establish themselves and expand their presence in the marketplace. We are excited to be able to offer this support to homebuilders throughout the Southeast region,” explained Randee Black, VP of Builder Services, who was recruited by Starkey Mortgage to spearhead the program.
The Texas-based mortgage company has worked alongside community builders and homebuyers through the economic downfall and understands that many homebuilders do not have the in-house resources or marketing departments required to help them effectively market their communities. Starkey Mortgage’s Southeastern U.S. division developed the unique and innovative Builder Services program in response to this unfulfilled niche, which offers professional marketing assistance to small to mid-sized builders.
Through the use of effective social media, digital, and print marketing efforts, Builder Services strives to capture the Builder’s message and help to transform it into a clear, concise and consistent message to homebuyers and real estate agents. Some services include brand strategy, digital and online presence, media and press campaigns, financing and payment options, and printed collateral.

The division, which originally supported builders from Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama, had a successful first term providing support to over 30 homebuilders throughout the Southeast. With April’s new home sales up 29 percent from last year and 2.3 percent from March, according to the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the US Census Bureau, the division is also expanding their reach to include the North Carolina territory, which has recently seen extreme growth, especially in the new home market.
