PRLog -- Mighty Con, the newest major comic book convention to hit the Midwest in years is coming to Pheasant Run. Finally, a convention focused on the fans, with low weekend ticket prices, free parking, and even free admission for kids! Come meet the stars of the comic and pop culture world, like movie and TV star Priscilla Barnes, WWE hall of famers Brutus The Barber Beefcake and Greg The Hammer Valentine, movie star Robert Zdar, comic book legends Bob McLeod, Gary Carlson, and Frank Fosco, Image Comic’s Ken Kristensen, and even original Disney animators Richard Rocha and Tony Anselmo (who is also the voice of Donald Duck).
Mighty Con runs from June 21st through 23rd, and will feature hundreds of thousands of comics for sale, over 2,500 sq. ft. of dedicated gaming rooms, original artists, authors, and more! Fans young and old can take part in the costume contest for cash prizes sponsored by Blackheart Comics, and Friday night join professional artists and animators for a Drink n Draw social to auction off original art for charity.
