SPM Resorts Announces Bob Coffin as Chief Operating Officer

 
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - May 29, 2013 - PRLog -- SPM Resorts, a professional timeshare management company, hired Robert T. Coffin (Bob) as Chief Operating Officer. Coffin joins SPM Resorts with significant experience in the vacation industry, having previously served for Wyndham Vacation Ownership Group as District Vice President of Resort Operations for their mountain region.

Coffin’s duties and responsibilities will include leadership and support at the corporate office for departments including financial services, information technology, administration, human resources, rental management and communications. Additionally, he will work closely with SPM Resorts’ President & CEO, Bill Young, to ensure smooth operations occur between the corporate office and resort locations.

For the past 10 years, Coffin’s role with Wyndham Vacation Ownership involved responsibility for the day-to-day operations of 12 timeshare resort properties. He was also instrumental in leading the teams that opened five new resorts. Coffin is a certified manager of condominium associations (CMCA) and is an association management specialist (AMS) by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers, Condominium Association Institute (CAI).  He is also ARDA Education Institute certified by the American Resort Development Association (ARDA).
