Orchard Pig plays host to Lounge Fest

SOUTH PETHERTON, U.K. - May 29, 2013 - PRLog -- In true piggy style, premium Somerset cider brand, Orchard Pig welcomed more than 800 staff from Loungers and Cosy Clubs near and far, to Lounge Fest.  Hosted at its sty - West Bradley Orchards, home of Orchard Pig - festival goers celebrated all things Somerset, especially the taste of Orchard Pig cider.

Snouting all the country traditions of Somerset, Orchard Pig herded 18 coaches from Liverpool, Cardiff, Stamford, Bristol, Bath, Taunton and Exeter to the Loungers and Cosy Club staff reward party.

Festival fun included a massive tug of war, welly wanging, sumo wrestling, giant jenga and twister, a vintage hair and beauty salon, apple bobbing, a coconut shy and putting the managers in stocks to be soaked with wet sponges! To get the party jumping, music was provided by bands Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer, The Mangled Wurzels, with Yes Sir Boss headlining.

Lounge Fest drafted in delicacies from local producers, including Mash Up Pies from Bristol and curry from the Lazy Gecko in Glastonbury. All washed down with Orchard Pig ciders, especially festival favourites Philosopher and Reveller.
