Fairview Microwave now offers 3.5 25 watt 26 Ghz attenuators

ALLEN, Texas - May 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Fairview Microwave, a supplier of passive RF and microwave products, is now offering a new product: 3.5 male to female 26 ghz 25 watt attenuators.  3.5 is a variation of SMA's but are generally used in higher frequency applications.  Although the interface has capabilities of up to 34 ghz, the attenuator offered has a frequency range of up to 26 ghz. 3.5 connectors will have a air dielectric as opposed to Teflon, which is what the dielectric of SMA's are constructed of.  Attenuators are useful in reducing a signal.  High frequency and precision connectors generally have a lower power handling capabilities than usual.
