Follow on Google News | Brighton Publishing signs Bryan Hall for “Life Behind Bars”Author Bryan Hall relates an experience like no other as he uncovers the beauty of his country, the depth of his friendships, and his own self-discovery during an adventure-filled cross-country motorcycle trip of a lifetime
By: Brighton Press Room Since his youth, author and motorcycle rider Bryan Hall has been fascinated by the dynamic American sub-culture of adventurous travelers and their wandering journeys from state-to-state. Movies and television shows like Route 66, Then Came Bronson, and Movin’ On, would soon spark a desire that would remain unfulfilled until the summer of 2011. Along with his good friend Mike, Mr. Hall would finally be compelled to pack up his saddlebags and hit the nation’s blacktop for the trip of a lifetime. Often called “The Loneliest Road in America,” US Highway 50 offered the friends a chance to see a snapshot of American history from a stretch of road commonly referred to as “America’s Highway.” Starting from the Puget Sound area of Washington, the motorcycling duo would follow Highway 50 across the country to Ocean City, Maryland—3,023 miles away. What originally was planned as a two-week trip, would soon turn into three, then four—then eventually, six weeks later, their trip would be complete, but the memories of a dream fulfilled would last forever. Experience places like the Tail of the Dragon, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Niagara Falls, Lake Huron, the Mackinac Straits, and Glacier National Park. “With his down-to-earth approach and a fascination for America that leaps from the pages, author Bryan Hall promotes an open-road freedom that is sure to fascinate readers of all ages,” said Kathie McGuire, director of Brighton Publishing LLC. “Life Behind Bars is the culmination of one man’s dream to travel the country and the unplanned pleasures that are received when plans are not carved in stone.” Readers are encouraged to visit Mr. Hall @ http://hiwayflyer.com/ End
