Come and Experience Jeff Owen’s War and Peace at the Triton Museum Exhibition

SAN JOSE, Calif. - May 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Bay Area artist Jeff Owen announces the acceptance of his photo “War and Peace #3” into the juried statewide Triton Museum Photography Exhibition. Seventy-five photographs were selected from over 600 entries throughout California. Jeff Owen’s photo depicts a disarray of toy soldiers, Buddha and Jesus statues. Owen describes his photo as the figures of war confronting the figures of peace. The soldiers can only harm each other by harming the great peace makers, Buddha and Jesus.  
The exhibit will run from April 16 through June 23, 2013 at the Triton Museum of Art, 1505 Warburton, in Santa Clara, CA. The museum is open to the public, free of charge, Tuesday through Saturday, 11 AM to 5 PM, Sunday 12 PM to 4 PM.  The Triton Museum of Art is a great supporter of the arts, through a program of art, education and community involvement. http://www.tritonmuseum.org

Jeff Owen expresses himself in multiple mediums including photography, although he is better known by fine art collectors internationally as the nationally acclaimed abstract metal sculptor.  His creative eye sees interesting shapes of metal; the patterns, textures, and grains; all enticing him to create.
