Missouri Dave Media Uses Award Winning Short to Help Wounded Veterans

Independent Film Company Uses Cutting Edge Distribution Method to Bring Movie to the Masses.
 
ATLANTA - May 26, 2013 - PRLog -- MissouriDave Media proudly presents the pilot episode of a series developed by David Martyn Conley entitled, D.N.R. The episode finds a couple, Dean and Esther Patterson dealing with issues involving PTSD, infidelity, espionage, and murder. This edge of your seat thriller has won several awards across the country including Best Short Film, Best Actress for Sharon Conley (The Blindside, Rectify) and Best Director for David Martyn Conley by the St. Louis Film Critics Association as well as another Best Short honor at The Bronze Lens Film Festival.
The show's creator, David Martyn Conley was the 2011 winner of the gmc Television Network's Faith and Family Screenplay Competition with his screenplay, Raising Izzie. Raising Izzie,went on to be the network's biggest world premiere ever.

MissouriDave Media is currently using the award winning D.N.R. as a way to assist wounded military veterans with their treatment and recovery. Conley says, "I believe all artists have a responsibility to move their audience to action as well as emotionally. It is great to entertain, but we should also impact lives."
A portion of all proceeds from the online views will be donated to The Wounded Warrior Project.
