Self brings RCR-Golden Gate Racing Team to second straight event win in Brainerd

BRAINERD MN – For the second straight year, Utah's Michael Self and the Richard Childress Racing Development supported Golden Gate Racing Team took home the win in Brainerd, Minnesota today with the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West.

After posting the third fastest time practice, Self qualified fourth in qualifying Saturday afternoon for the Napa Auto Parts 125 at Brainerd International Raceway. After the waving of the green flag, Self quickly worked his way in behind Cameron Hayley to claim the second place position. It was a restart on lap 37 that permitted Self to muscle the Golden Gate Meat Company-Bay Bio Diesel into the lead that he never relinquished.
