Unique ‘Move Management’ service comes to Lancashire!

KENDAL, U.K. - May 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Moving home is recognised as being among one of the most stressful experiences in life. In later years, this already daunting life event can simply become too much to contemplate. The prospect of packing up a beloved home, with decades of accumulated belongings and all the memories attached can seem overwhelming and for many elderly people, this becomes a reason to delay or defer a move.

Margaret originally from Winnipeg in Canada, moved to Blackpool, Lancashire over 30 years ago after training to be a mental health nurse. She worked for Mind in the UK and set up Supported Moves in 2012 after recognising the demand for ‘Move Management’ in residential and commercial markets in the UK.

“In North America these type of services are well established and used,” she added “By developing Supported Moves, here in the NW, we can help people manage what can seem a daunting prospect. For the elderly and less abled, their relatives who may not live nearby, busy families with Children and even hard pressed business people with commercial premises, this can be offer real help or even a  lifeline”

With the UK housing market in slowdown, *Supported Moves have also developed De-Cluttering and Adaption services to make the best of your current living accommodation/commercial premises to enable you to fall in love all over again with your own four walls!
