PRLog -- The U.S. Army Kansas City Recruiting Battalion and Sprint Nextel will join forces at a Partnership for Youth Success signing ceremony at Winter Garden Sprint Campus from 2:00-3:30 PM., Thursday, May 23rd. Sprint Nextel will officially enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the United States Army Partnership for Youth Success program. The Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) Program is a strategic partnership between the US Army and a cross section of corporations, companies, and public sector agencies. U.S. Army Col. Timothy Wulff , garrison commander at Fort Leavenworth commented, “The valuable training Soldiers receive directly relates to many jobs in the civilian sector”. Wullf adds, “PaYs partners understand and tell us they are interested in Soldier attributes and share common values with the Army values”. Sprint will contact PaYS enlistment applicants during their Army service and during their transition to the civilian sector. The program provides America's youth with an opportunity to serve their country while they prepare for their future.
