Businesses do Lunch with New Networking Group

NR. HARROGATE, U.K. - May 22, 2013 - PRLog -- A new lunchtime networking group launched in Leeds this week attracted almost 30 people to its first meeting.

The national organisation 4Networking already runs breakfast networking events at three locations across Leeds, including one at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Wellington Street.

Now, a fourth venue has been added with a midday start to attract people who are unable to get to the earlier meetings.

Group leader Sean Blessitt said: “There are some people who would like to come to 4N but can’t make it because they’re busy in the morning with things like the school run.

“This new group gives them another option – they still get the same opportunities to network and find out about other businesses, but they get lunch instead of breakfast.

“The number of people at the launch meeting shows there is a demand for it so we’re sure it will be a success.”

Mr Blessitt is already the group leader for the Leeds East meeting in Whitkirk. He was approached by regional organiser Tom Lawrence to help set up the new group when he noticed the nearest existing lunchtime meeting was in Castleford, which some businesses based in the city centre felt was too far to travel during a working day.

The 4N Leeds Central lunch meeting will take place fortnightly at Frankie & Benny’s at Cardigan Fields on Kirkstall Road. The next meeting is on Tuesday, June 4 from noon until 2pm.
