Attorney Matthew Meyerkord Included in 2013 Super Lawyers® List for Missouri and Kansas

The organization also uses its attorney-led research staff to identify more strong candidates for the list. Next, the organization’s research department uses 12 indicators of professional achievement and peer recognition to evaluate the candidates, with points being given in each area. After that, a special “blue ribbon panel” of attorneys are asked to evaluate candidates who are in similar practice areas on a scale from one to ten. The lawyers being considered are then separated by categories of firm size, and the attorneys with the highest number of points in each category are chosen for the final list. Finally, before the list is published, the Super Lawyers® research staff verifies that the finalists are have good standing with their local licensing authorities and that they do not have any disciplinary actions against them.
