Let's talk and taste healthy food - Panel discussion and Food tasting session

This Saturday, 25 May, The Alternative organizes a free panel discussion and food tasting session to translate cooking and eating healthy to everyday recipes, tips & recommendations

BANGALORE, India - May 21, 2013 - PRLog -- The summer is still going strong and the showers have started. What better way to spend the evening than talking and tasting fresh, delicious and healthy food. This Saturday learn about, discuss and taste food that's good for you, the kids and the planet.

Together with the panel of expert food practitioners, The Alternative translates cooking and eating healthy food to everyday choices - recipes, tips and recommendations.

Sreedhar NP, Nisarga Shoppe, talks about practical ways to procure, cook and eat healthy, organic food.

Manjunath, Lumiere restaurant and store, shares his experiences of bringing back age old recipes and traditional ways of cooking.

Manasa Rajan, Nutrition coach, emphasizes the need for clean eating and the benefits plant based whole foods.

The talks will be followed by a food tasting session featuring a signature dish by each of the speakers and a selection of dishes from the Jackfruit festival organized by Lumiere restaurant. You could use the chance to browse the food supplies at the Organic store or stay back for dinner at the restaurant.
