16 Year Old Runner Has Places to Be

May 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA – 05/20/2013—16 year old Alana Hadley started running one day and hasn’t stopped since. Hadley runs on average 110 miles a week and has been running since age 6. Alana just happens to be the top 16 year old long-distance runner in the country.

Hadley’s father is the running coach. Mark supervises training and makes sure Alana doesn’t overdo it. People in the running world are very curious about Hadley, not just because of the results but because of the unconventional way that Hadley is doing things.

High school sophomores do not usually tackle marathons, don’t run 110 miles a week or get up at 5 a.m. for five-mile jogs to supplement afternoon training.

Hadley will not run in college, but is looking forward to the trials for the 2016 Olympic Games in three years.
