Learn about the past, present, and future of space exploration. Get space stuff and stories delivered every month.

ARLINGTON, Va. - May 20, 2013 - PRLog -- The Society for International Space Cooperation (SISC) an educational nonprofit organization whose board includes astronauts, cosmonauts, and luminaries like director James Cameron today announces the launch of a monthly box of space goodies and educational info for space enthusiasts of all ages.  People who sign up for the Space Explorers Club and Junior Space Explorers Club will be sent a different box every month with items related to space exploration and the unique stories behind them.  The Junior Space Explorers Club is geared towards kids 6-12 years old and has many fun and educational activities. The Space Explorers Club is for Space Lovers aged 13-113. The Society for International Space Cooperation is a 501(c)(3) so all donations are 100% tax deductible and all proceeds help support the educational programs of the society. More info is available at http://www.spacesociety.org

For instance one month a member might receive a lunar rover model with the personal stories of the astronauts who drove them and details of the missions they were used in as well as current designs for moon rovers to be used in future missions and what a Soviet lunar rover might have looked like had their moon program succeeded. Another month might be a sample of astronaut food and recipes for members to make their own foods used by astronauts and cosmonauts over the years and a look at what future astronauts will eat on long missions to Mars.  Next month members may get a tile similar to the heat protective tiles on the space shuttle and learn how they worked and hear the inside stories about them as well as what future spacecraft will use instead of tiles.

By making a donation and becoming a member of the Space Explorers Club or Junior Space Explorers Club members will learn something new and different about the exploration of space every month and at the same time help support the mission of the Society for International Space Cooperation. The Society for International Space Cooperation is a 501(c)(3) so all donations are 100% tax deductible
