The films which are in pre-production will start filming end of July and be delivered for Quarter 2 next year.
The screenplay is the work of Sabre Films originator, Nick Squire, who has based the concept of two Somerset dwelling, man-eating crocodiles on a true story circulating since his schooldays. Starring as the social misfit who breeds the beasts is actor-comedian Greg Davie (Inbetweeners Movie) while his psychotic side-kick is played by Thomas Turgoose who debuted his career with Shane Meadow’s “This is England”. Making a welcome return to the screen for her role as the village gossip, is the well-loved British actress, Sylvia Syms.Producing is Nigel Wooll (G.I.Jane, Keeping Mum, Willow) and Chantelle de Carvalho. Repercussion: Directing this genre piece, featuring a no-holds-barred game of cat and mouse between the two, is John Langridge, whose debut low budget indie, the darkly comic thriller Four, starred Martin Compston (The Disappearance of Alice Creed), Craig Conway (Doomsday), Sean Pertwee (Event Horizon) and Kierston Wareing (Fish Tank) and was picked up for distribution in the UK and internationally. British independent production company TenSixtyEight is is producing the film. The film will shoot in London and Yorkshire with Chantelle de Carvalho producing. The King's Men. Is a crime thriller surrounding an underground world of poker; the film earned kudos from the poker industry and its star players after a concept trailer of the film posted on YouTube garnered 2 million hits, creating huge interest amongst the poker fraternity. The award winning Capital Films is producing The King’s Men. Capital Films won the Best UK Scripted Pilot at the 2012 New York Television Festival for its television project The New Bromantics. The same award winning team will head up The King’s Men with Claire Daly and Enrico Falzetti acting as producers, Steven Farah as producer/writer, and Schuman Hoque as director. The King’s Men is currently in casting with John Hannah, Martin McCann, and Katarina Cas so far lining up . More cast will be announced shortly and Filming is set to take place at then of July in London.
