PRLog -- On May 24, 2013, Hanshi Stephen F. Kaufman will be honored at the North American Federation of Martial Arts (NAFMA) Hall of Fame Chinese Kung Fu and Karate Exposition and Banquet in Atlantic City at the Sheraton Convention Center as “A True Founding Father of American Martial Arts” for his inordinate contributions to martial arts for more than fifty-five years.
Hanshi will also present a eulogy for recently passed Great Grandmaster Aaron Banks. As part of this event, Hanshi Kaufman will also present a seminar titled Zen Stick Fighting Self-defense.
Stephen F. Kaufman is the internationally acclaimed author of several books including the world’s best-selling interpretations of Musashi’s
Book of Five Rings and Sun Tzu’s
Art of War. His books have sold worldwide and have been translated into many languages.
An acknowledged true founding father of American Karate, he was awarded the title of Hanshi in 1991 by international peer associations. The title is considered to be the most prestigious accomplishment in the martial arts world and signifies “teacher of teachers.”
Mr. Kaufman lives in New York City and spends his time traveling, teaching, writing, and developing a higher universal consciousness for all mankind.
