Patricia Ahaesy Named Women's Business Champion

NEW YORK - May 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Patricia Ahaesy, CMP, CSEP, President of P&V Enterprises, www.pnventerprises.com, a New York City based event management company and a women owned business is slated to be awarded “The Women in Business Champion Award” at the National Small Business Week 2013 Awards Ceremony Tuesday, May 21st 2013. The NYSBA will honor New York City winners in the nation's most prestigious small business awards competition. Many outstanding small business owners will be honored that day. The Awards Ceremony, hosted by the SBA is to be held at 26 Federal Plaza - 6th Floor Conference Center.  The program begins at 9:00am and concludes at 12:00 pm. Mrs. Vera Moore, of Vera Moore Cosmetics is the Keynote Speaker.    Pat is often quoted in industry professional publications and is a co-moderator of MECO the leading online community for meeting professionals. She is an active member of the Meeting Professionals International of Greater New York, and was the 2009-2011 President of NAWBO-NYC (National Association of Women Business Owners)     Wanting to give back to the organization and to women entrepreneurs, for the past 4 years Pat Ahaesy has facilitated and grown what is now the very successful NAWBO-NYC Networking Breakfasts.     Joining NAWBO was a decision that Pat made when she felt that she needed to improve her business skills. Clearly the programs at the NAWBO-NYC chapter helped her to do that. If it weren’t for NAWBO she may never have known about all the services offered to small businesses from the City of New York The Small Business Administration and in particular the WBE Certification Program. Her company, P&V Enterprises has proudly been certified as a WBE by NYC Business Solutions.     P&V Enterprises is a corporate meeting and event production and management firm founded by Pat and Vince Ahaesy. Both had extensive experience in the corporate meetings and events market and decided to combine their different skills and expertise.
