Saint Sophia Cathedral in Los Angeles Honors Susan Patzakis at the Sheraton Universal Hotel

BURBANK, Calif. - May 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Honoring the 2013 Philoptohos Mother of the Year, the Patzakis family and Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Los Angeles presented a tribute to Susan Giokaris Patzakis at the Sheraton Universal Hotel. The centerpiece of the tribute was "A Giving Heart," a video retrospective.

Narrated by Susan's daughters Michele and Theresa, and sons Peter and John, the video follows Mrs. Patzakis' family history from her grandparents to present day. It also presents some of the many accomplishments in Susan's life, career, contributions and work with the Saint Sophia Cathedral and its Philoptohos Society.

Originally premiered to a sold-out audience at the Sheraton Universal Hotel for the Saint Sophia Mother's Day Luncheon event, "A Giving Heart" is now available for all to see on YouTube.

Susan Patzakis sets the perfect example of what a giving heart should be, while continuing to cherish her family and contributing her time and expertise to the Saint Sophia church.
