King's X Frontman Takes On New Management

It is with great pride and enthusiasm, that Zenergy Entertainment Group announces our new partnership with Doug Pinnick.  “dUg”, most notably known as the frontman for hard-rockers King’s X, has opted to have Zenergy become the representative to all of his individual endeavors.  In the past, dUg has been involved with projects with the likes of Jeff Ament and Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Reb Beach (Winger, Whitesnake), and the late great Dimebag Darrell (Pantera).  Current projects that dUg is involved with include PGP (with blues virtuoso Eric Gales and super drummer Thomas Pridgen) and KXM, another power trio, with George Lynch (Dokken) and Ray Luzier (Korn) along with several others.  

Zenergy Entertainment Group CEO, Michael “Smitty” Smith states, “I’ve been a huge King’s X and dUg fan since 1989, and I am truly excited for the opportunity to help dUg and his career.  I couldn’t be happier having such a world-class talent on the Zenergy roster! Coming onboard just as Naked is being released, gives us a chance to really get to know each other’s work habits at a crucial time.” Zenergy has worked with Living Colour and lead vocalist Corey Glover, Bassist T.M. Stevens (Miles Davis, James Brown, Steve Vai), and Cycle of Pain (featuring Black Label Society bassist JD DeServio and Monster Magnet Drummer Bob Pantella).

dUg’s new solo album, Naked, was just released Tuesday, May 7th, and is already creating quite a buzz.  The first single, “That Great Big Thing”, is beginning to make its way onto several radio playlists around the country.  Naked is available now on iTunes, Amazon, and all other major music download sites.  Physical CDs can also be purchased through most major online retailers.
