Dutch Dog Amsterdam Announces the Release of Its Nature Collection of Dog Leashes and Collars
Inspired by a love of animals and nature, Melrath reinterprets the whimsy of nature onto eco-friendly dog leashes and collars for the modern dog owner.
By: Dutch Dog Design
The Nature collection is designed by local Redmond, WA artist and illustrator, Susan Melrath (http://www.susanmelrath.com/)
Flowers, gems and celestial bodies, inspire the initial three designs, Aqua Flora, Ruby Harvest and Over the Moon, respectively. Flower gardens and a nature walk in the woods inspire additional designs.
Aqua Flora, with its swirls of enchanting blues, allows a dog owner to walk on the whimsical side with beautiful blooms afloat in a sea of blue. Ruby Harvest, with its inspiring shades of red, allows for one’s canine companion to be adorned with a little gem, harvesting the beauty of a glittering ruby. Finally, Over the Moon, with its ethereal, celestial greens, allows for a dog to be graced with a design that eclipses all others.
Conveniently, in keeping with the nature theme, Dutch Dog Amsterdam products are always made of eco-friendly PET webbing (which is made from recycled plastic bottles) and are printed with non-toxic printing materials. Given that the products are made from PET webbing, the leashes and collars are softer and gentler than nylon leashes and collars, but just as strong and durable. Additionally, all designs are printed directly onto and into the webbing, on both sides, so there is no room for concern about the integrity of a piece of fabric being merely sewn on to a leash or collar as can be seen in other products.
Dutch Dog Design looks forward to continuing to innovate and expand its artistic offerings while exposing more of the dog culture community to beautiful works of art.
