Love That Dress! Event is Celebrating 5 Years With a Commemorative Love That Dress! Logo

The 2013 Love That Dress! event in Lee County marks it's 5 year anniversary with a commemorative logo.

FORT MYERS, Fla. - May 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Love That Dress! (http://www.pacecenter.org/centers/lee/lee-ltd) is the ultimate feel-good girls night out shopping spree of the year benefiting PACE Center for Girls (http://www.pacecenter.org/centers/lee). This year, Lee County is celebrating the 5 year Anniversary of Love That Dress!  A commemorative logo has been created by the original Love That Dress! creator, Len Eckert (http://www.linkedin.com/in/icondoinc/) of IconDo, Inc., to mark this milestone. This year’s 5-year Anniversary event will take place on Wednesday, August 28th, 2013, 5-9pm at The Embassy Suites in Estero (http://embassysuites3.hilton.com/en/hotels/florida/embassy-suites-fort-myers-estero-FMYESES/index.html).

An estimated 800 fashionistas (and a few brave men) are expected to stake their claim on thousands of new and gently worn dresses and accessories selling for nominal prices. Guests will also enjoy the event’s popular silent auction, camaraderie, and cocktails. Major sponsors will have access to the VIP shopping offering private dressing rooms, clothing hold, express check-out service, complimentary adult beverages and hors d’oeuvres and a private selection of decadent chocolates.  In addition, many new surprises are being implemented for the 5 year anniversary celebration and White House Black Market (http://www.whitehouseblackmarket.com/) is again the Title Sponsor, offering new dresses, accessories, shoes and handbags at unbelievable bargain prices.

There are several fun ways to support Love That Dress! :

Donations of new or gently worn dresses are accepted at collection parties (http://www.pacecenter.org/centers/lee/lee-ltd/collection-...) leading up to the main event. In August, several drop-off locations (http://www.pacecenter.org/centers/lee/lee-ltd/donation-sites) throughout Lee County will also be receiving dresses. All kinds of dresses are suitable from sundresses, to formal gowns to bridal!

Donations of specialty goods or valuable gift cards for products and services are also needed for the silent auction. Examples include jewelry, hotel stays, beauty baskets and gift cards for cosmetic services, retailers and restaurants. Items favorable to women are preferred.
