Englewood Cliffs Cadillac Sponsors the Community Chest Annual Spring Event

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. - May 14, 2013 - PRLog -- As part of its continued effort to support good causes in the local community, Englewood Cliffs Cadillac sponsored The Community Chest’s annual “Grant A Wish” spring event at the Montammy Golf Club in Alpine, NJ.

“The Englewood Cliffs Cadillac family is truly honored to be able to help out such a historic organization, which has done so much and helped out many in our community for the better part of a century,” said Mike Saporito, co-founder of Englewood Cliffs Cadillac.

This year’s Grant A Wish Spring Event celebrated 80 years of giving for The Community Chest, which funds over 20 non-profit agencies in the local community, and included a special performance by Kelli Agresta and Alexander Diaz, with musical accompaniment by The Sklar Sisters. There was also a special appearance by WABC news anchor Lori Stokes.

Thanks to the continued generosity of its donors, The Community Chest has collected a record-setting amount of funds over the past year prior to the spring event. The organization allocated $235,124 for programs that address the needs of the local community. The Community Chest supports a wide-range of local programs aimed to help the elderly, the environment, arts and culture, and youth development. It also allocated funds for social services and health centers.
