National Space Society Conference Confirms Marshall Barnes Warp Drive Tech Presentation
Wiping away any doubt, Marshall Barnes has been added to the official speakers list page for the International Space Development Conference put on by the National Space Society. This proves that Marshall's proposal passed scientific evaluation.
11 am: Keith Lofstrom , Sky Server Technology). 2 pm: Bill Gardiner, Laboratory Consulting Sources, Inc. “Can We Get Healthy Enough to Live in Space so we can be Healthy Enough to Stay on Earth?” 3 pm: open 4 pm: Bill Gardiner, Laboratory Consulting Sources, Inc.“Space Travel without a Rocket or a Ride: Meteor Formation in the Mesosphere by the Electrolytic Ion Recombination (deionization)
However, erasing all doubt for those who find it hard to believe that Marshall actually has been developing warp drive, is his listing directly below that of Buzz Aldrin the Apollo 11 astronaut on the speaker list for the conference - http://isdc.nss.org/
Marshall's presentation abstract is as follows:
Space Travel Solutions Through Local Distortions of Space-Time
For the first time, there is a technology that could make warp drive a reality within five years or less. This presentation will track its development and relationship with Einstein's unfinished unified field theory, the predictions of Soviet Scientist N.A. Kozyrev and the research of John Brandenburg, H. David Froning and others. Implications for what it means for aerospace and the private sector space efforts will be covered in detail as this will introduce the beginning of a new, civilian space program effort that will begin in May, 2013, and will proceed independently of NASA or other government support.
Marshall will show a number of experiments that support his basic scientific premise - that the application of the STDTS™ field, which causes acceleration in the direction that it is moving by contracting (warping) space as it moves through space, will theoretically accelerate a spacecraft faster than the speed of light. There is no other technology on Earth that is capable of that today.
Although Marshall has shown his technology at lectures elsewhere, the International Space Development Conference will be the first major scientific event where he will show a range of experiments to make not only his case for the STDTS™ viability, but will also illustrate his commercial exploitation vision and discuss why he has been successful in creating this technology when others have failed or are still in the strictly theoretical stage. In particular, he will point out flaws in the Harold "Sonny" White warp drive design being worked on for NASA that his STDTS™ technology doesn't have which were pointed out in the April issue of Popular Science magazine http://www.popsci.com/
Everything is on track for Marshall to prove his assertion that his STDTS™ is the first technology to provide a truly functional platform for the development of warp drive propulsion, to expand the human exploration of space.
