Williamsburg Environmental Group, Inc. (WEG) Welcomes Scott Burroughs to the Transportation Team

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - May 10, 2013 - PRLog -- Fredericksburg, VA; May 10, 2013– Williamsburg Environmental Group, Inc. (WEG), a local environmental consulting and engineering firm, is pleased to announce the addition of E. Scott Burroughs, IV.  Scott joins our expert Transportation Team as a Senior Environmental Planner based in the Fredericksburg office.  His primary responsibilities will include environmental permitting and project management for a wide range of developmental and transportation projects.

Mr. Burroughs brings with him more than fifteen years experience in environmental permitting and compliance and project management throughout Maryland and Virginia.   Prior to working at WEG, Mr. Burroughs served as a project manager/environmental manager for Lorenzi, Dodds & Gunnill, Inc. providing land development and environmental services to a variety of clients.  Additionally, during his tenure at Rummell, Klepper & Kahl, LLP, he served as an integral member of the environmental team on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge project.

Mr. Burroughs received a B.S. degree in Forest Science from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a Maryland Licensed Forester, Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector, and a Licensed Tree Expert.  With his extensive experience in land development and stewardship, he will continue WEG’s goal to provide environmental solutions that are supportive of important environmental values.  And, as an experienced environmental project manager, Mr. Burroughs will be able to help navigate the complex environmental regulations and provide cost-effective, environmentally-sound solutions for all of WEG’s clientele.
