Christian business organization grows from small-town to worldwide with the power of the Web

DELAND, Fla. - May 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Several years ago, a Deland, Fla. pastor, James B. Heard, along with members of his congregation and community formed the Coalition of Anointed Businesses (CAB). The idea to form the group came about after realizing that many local congregants owned their own businesses.

According to Heard, the mission of CAB is to provide a support system, exposure and guidance to Christian-owned business.

“Various businesses come together as a whole to provide the public with quality and affordable services by certified professionals,” Heard said. “Our members are held to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, loyalty and commitment.”

“We are committed to training and mentoring businesses and those desiring to becoming entrepreneurs,” Heard added. “CAB has an extensive variety of business owners and business experts [to] collaborate and seek innovative solutions to business problems and practices.”

In 2011, with a belief that the “anointing of God makes the difference” in business success, Heard set out to take this mission to the world. He made a decision to place the organization on the Web to accomplish this goal.

On the organization’s website, www.thecabstop.com, users are offered free business listings, business tips, inspirational messages, newsletters, employment listings, exclusive product and service discounts and social media promotion, to name a few.

Since launching the website, the organization has attracted members from all over the nation and world, from Oregon, Michigan, Alabama and Pennsylvania to Pakistan, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. The website’s participant list boasts businesses from at least 20 industries, including: beauty and health, food and dining, construction, apparel, accounting and health care.

CAB is currently accepting new members under its free listing program and is preparing to launch new tools and services for Christian business owners including monthly business chats and advertising services.
