Writing as Christine Holden, the two women sold 5 novels to Jove Books between 1998 and 2001. In 2006, Leslie appeared on the Rachael Ray Show as a Hurricane Katrina survivor. Leslie and Shirley are natives of New Orleans. To escape Katrina, they evacuated to Texas, where they have resided ever since.
