HOUSTON - May 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA – Fashion designer Michele Bohbot fuses her personal practice and experience in yoga with her design talent to create a synthesis of high-tech style and function in the women’s athletic apparel she designs for Electric Yoga. In choosing to become green certified with the Green Business Bureau (GBB), a national membership organization that uses an online assessment to certify green businesses, Electric Yoga demonstrates their commitment to reducing pollution and waste, conserving energy and natural resources, protecting plant and animal life and fighting global warming.

Electric Yoga values environmental responsibility and strives to limit its ecological footprint by incorporating green business practices. The majority of Electric Yoga products are made locally in Los Angeles in order to cut down on carbon emissions and waste generated from shipping. They encourage employees to ride share and use recycled paper or go paperless, whenever possible.  They also recycle in the office, use low-waste and eco-friendly office supplies and eco-friendly office equipment.  

The Green Business Bureau’s clear and straightforward criterion for going green allows Electric Yoga to track and measure the progress they are making and to easily set goals.
