CHICAGO - May 8, 2013 - PRLog -- The Midwest Child & Family Institute will hold its annual conference, “Everyday Struggles with Sickle-Cell Anemia,” on Saturday, June 15, 2013 to provide those impacted by the disease with information on depression, pain management and the latest clinical trials, among other topics.

Several professionals from the medical, mental health and not-for-profit areas are scheduled to speak on a range of issues that those with Sickle-Cell and their family members experience on a daily basis.  While the event will include a discussion of depression, pain management and the latest clinical trials, attendees can also expect an information-packed program discussing other issues, such as medical debt relief options for those struggling with large hospital bills and healthy lifestyle habits.  Attendees will also participate in more intimate break-out sessions with a group leader to discuss their issues.

The conference is scheduled to occur on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central Standard Time at the Holiday Inn Tinley Park Convention Center in Tinley Park, Illinois.  Seats are limited so pre-registration online is required. To register for the event, visit www.midwestchild.com/annualseminar.html.

Corporations interested in sponsoring the event may elect one of three levels at www.midwestchild.com/sponsorships.html.
