By: Vital Warrior Too many times, our veterans come home and bring with them a personal struggle that only one who has served can understand. According to the Department of Veteran Affairs (http://www.va.gov) Getting into the core of stress and healing is what Vital Warrior is aimed at doing. Beginning with his own personal treatment, Mikal Vega, has created a program of eight (8) modalities (or steps) of a natural, non-pharmaceutical way to combat his own personal struggle with Post Traumatic Stress. After years of research and personal practice, Mikal can attest that he is completely prescription drug-free. Vital Warrior wants to bring the program to many who are looking for something that will help – and like anything when dealing with “recovery” Vital Warrior is already working with several clients through a mentorship program currently handled directly by Mikal Vega himself. Vital Warrior also works in conjunction with other Orgs like Working Wardrobes and Vet Net to offer Vital Warrior’s program directly to those who need it most. With that being said, the need is great and so the program’s availability needs to be greater. During the month of May, Vital Warrior kicks off it’s fundraising efforts in order to be able to make it’s program available to a greater number of our military Veterans in need. While the ultimate goal is to have a facility in as many military communities across the country as possible, Vital Warrior is set to kick off a cross-country tour, making stops to share the program with Vets along the way. The thing with the Vital Warrior program is that the steps it offers can be found in your local hometown. Find a yoga class, a meditation center, acupuncture and other forms of self-healing that are non-invasive but work to heal the self. Fundraising efforts are already underway through Vital Warrior’s Facebook page as well as on military apparel company, Vision-Strike- Donate now (http://vitalwarrior.org/ To learn more about Vital Warrior, find them at www.vitalwarrior.org End
