Growing up in West Virginia, John moved to the Dallas area from Charleston, S.C. 25 years ago. He and his wife, Phyllis, have a grown son, Austin. After attending the University of South Carolina, John had a successful career in advertising sales working with local media including WFAA Channel 8 where he gained valuable experience in marketing, sales and customer service. John attends Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and when time permits, enjoys sports, investing, movies, media and other types of technology.
