PHOENIX - May 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Owners of historic and vintage Arizona homes and neighborhood advocates are encouraged to attend the 2013 Historic Homeowner's Expo to receive timely advice and assistance to improve and showcase their properties. The Expo will be held Saturday, June 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hilton Phoenix East/Mesa, 1011 W. Holmes Ave., Mesa.

Informative education sessions by experts in the field will take place. Session topics include:

• How to Hire a Contractor
• Urban Myths About Energy Efficiency
• Researching Your Historic Home
• Green Retrofitting
• Interior Design
• When Adding Subtracts
• Landscaping and Irrigation
• Grants, Assistance, and Tax Incentives

Vendors of preservation-related products and services are invited to display products, photos of previous jobs, and brochures and interact with Expo attendees and prospective customers. The deadline for vendors to register is May 31.
