BROOKFIELD, Wis. - May 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Exhibit Systems celebrated the opening of its new office and production facility Thursday as Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, local dignitaries and the Waukesha County Business Alliance visited the headquarters for a ceremonial ribbon-cutting.

The celebration marked the public unveiling of Exhibit Systems’ new home, where the company moved into earlier this year. Exhibit Systems gutted and completely remodeled an old industrial building at 12600 W. Burleigh Road, Brookfield. Virtually the entire office and production facility is new, both interior and exterior.

Addressing a large crowd gathered in the office showroom Thursday, company co-owner Richard Magliocco remembered the first time he considered the building. Its interior features consisted largely of dust, debris and strange smells.

“I thought ‘Wow, this is really ugly, but it just might work,’” he said. “The building had what is often termed ‘good bones,’ but not much else.’” He thanked employees, customers and business partners for their ongoing support.

After six months of construction, Exhibit Systems moved in. The building’s 46,000 square feet more than doubles the production, design and office space of its former Menomonee Falls, Wis., location.

Kleefisch praised Exhibit Systems as the type of smart, growing company that comprises the backbone of Wisconsin’s economy. Its average 30 percent annual revenue growth for the past two years, coupled with ambitious plans for the near future, has Exhibit Systems poised as a steady creator of family-supporting jobs for a long time, she said.

Also attending the event, and lending their voices to the celebration, were Brookfield Mayor Steven Ponto, Waukesha County Executive Dan Vrakas, Waukesha County Board Chair Paul Decker, Waukesha County Supervisor Jennifer Grant, and state Rep. Dale Kooyenga.

The Waukesha County Business Alliance, of which Exhibit Systems is a member, was well-represented by its Ambassadors and board members. Alliance President Suzanne Kelley joined in the ribbon-cutting, flanked by smiling faces all around.
