My Fierce Wings Radio will interview Bobby V, Debra Antney, and GoGo Morrow to find out more about their entertainment careers, them personally and the projects they're currently work. We are very excited to welcome them to our radio station and roster of guests. Make sure you all tune into MyFierceWingsRadio's "The Biz With D" Show on Wednesday, May 8th 9-11PM EST. About Guest: Bobby V - He’s had No. 1 singles, platinum and gold albums, has toured the world and has appeared on songs with Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Nicki Minaj, R Kelly, and 50 Cent among many others. Seven years into a remarkable solo career; Bobby V (formerly Bobby Valentino) has experienced the best the music industry has to offer while working with some of the game’s elite. From virtually any angle, Bobby V’s career seems to be heaven sent. Bobby scored a hit when he was only 15 years old with as one-fourth of the 1990s R&B group Mista, with “Blackberry Molasses,” a tune produced by Organized Noize (OutKast, TLC) that became a Top 10 R&B hit. Even with this success, Mista dissolved. Bobby V then enrolled at Clark Atlanta University, where he graduated with a communications degree and developed a keen business sense. Reintroduced in 2005 with “Slow Down,” Bobby V quickly reignited his career. His debut solo album, 2005’s Disturbing Tha Peace Presents Bobby Valentino, earned the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip- Debra Antney - Mogul, mentor, mother and philanthropist Debra Antney is truly every woman or at least what most women aspire to be. As CEO of Atlantabased Mizay Entertainment, a talent management firm launched in 2007, Antney could be described as a ‘pit bull in a skirt’ being that she has positioned herself as a major power player in a maledominated industry with equal parts force and femininity. Somewhat of a pioneer in HipHop, Antney has taken off her heels and used them to break the proverbial glass ceiling to become one of the few female managers to create not only bankable artists, but also superstars. Growing up in Jamaica Queens, New York, her difficult yet familyoriented upbringing has certainly helped to shape her into the successful entrepreneur she is today. Even as a youngster on the block, Antney was business savvy but also filled with compassion. She started several enterprises including a lemonade stand, a makeshift animal hospital, a babysitting and cleaning establishment, amongst others. No stranger to hard work, the single mother of four worked a string of jobs to support her family but realized that her dedication to mundane activities would be better served through helping others. In her true risktaking style, she moved South and landed a position with the Georgia Department of Family and Children’s Services where she coordinated community activities. It was there that she met up and coming rappers Ludacris and David Banner who addressed Antney as “Ms. A” (MizA), hence the company name. She also bonded with a local underground artist named Gucci Mane where she pushed him to live his potential. With unwavering vision and persistence, Antney left her 9 to 5 to oversee the career of the popular MC fulltime and Mizay Entertainment was born. GoGo Morrow - GOGO “YEAH, I SAID GOGO” MORROW IS AN ATYPICAL, CREATIVE FORCE MAKING HER INDELIBLE MARK AS A SINGER, SONGWRITER, AND DANCER. IN HER TRAVELS, THE FIRST THING PEOPLE ALWAYS ASK IS “WHY THE NAME GOGO?” Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: Vol 1. can answer that question. GoGo Morrow states, “GoGo Yubari’s character was an innocent-faced, assassin that you never saw coming. The same holds true for me as an artist. People never see me coming but I’m here and I’m a triple threat as a singer, writer, and dancer. I’m always up for a challenge.” Indeed, being up for a challenge has always been in her blood. GoGo Morrow got her start singing in West Philadelphia as a small child listening to her father sing. As she began to find her own voice, her father would challenge her to a sing off. If she kept up, she’d win $2 – quite the payoff for an aspiring, young artist. GoGo Morrow began singing in church and, at age 10, joined the Prince Music Theater’s Rainbow Company where she honed her theatrical skills over the next seven years. She went on to earn a degree in Music Business from Millersville University. During that time, she worked as an intern for Philadelphia International Records, then as an assistant at Def Jam under the tutelage of her mentor Record Executive Leesa Brunson. Combining all of her life experience, GoGo Morrow secured a coveted2 year engagement as a background singer and dancer for Lady GaGa’s The MonsterBall Tour. She has also performed as a solo opening act for Rick Ross, LilWayne, Fabolous, and Kendrick Lamar, just to name a few. Most recently, she performed at the Wawa Festival, opening for Lauryn Hill, Common, The Roots, Queen Latifah, Brandy, and headlining her first concert at Theater Of Living Arts in Philadelphia, PA [April 2013].
