– Eccentric author of the debut novel Death, the Devil, and the Goldfish,
Andrew Buckley, was recently accosted by local press in his hometown of Kelowna, BC. After Buckley stated on his social media accounts that his home computer had been hacked reports of 'questionable stolen video footage' began to immerge. While the content of the footage has not yet been confirmed a trusted source close to Buckley has gone on record saying that it's not the sort of thing anyone would want revealed in public.
Death, the Devil, and the Goldfish is the debut novel from Buckley, published by Curiosity Quills Press, and takes a seriously satirical look at hard-hitting, real-world issues like nervous ducks, men who used to be penguins, the vacation packing routine of the Devil, and the importance of a clearly marked afterlife.
As stated on his website www.planetkibi.com, Buckley is a UK born author who currently resides in the Okanagan Valley, BC with 3 kids, 2 cats, a very needy dog, 1 beautiful wife, and a multitude of voices that live comfortably inside his head.
In May 2012 Buckley signed with Curiosity Quills Press, a small press made up of professional literary marauders whose innovative and progressive publishing methods will one day take over the literary world. Utilizing social media, professional networks, and creative minds on an international scale, Curiosity Quills stands at the front of an ever-changing literary landscape.
Buckley avoided press while at a book signing at the Pulp Fiction Coffeehouse in Kelowna but later went on record with independent news source, A-News, to issue a public apology in case the footage gets leaked. The original broadcast by A-News can be found on the Curiosity Quills Press YouTube page. Is this a home-made sex tape? Or something worse?
