Green Alternative Systems Extends Specialty Shuttle Fuel Capacity with CNG Fueling System

INDIANAPOLIS - May 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Using their existing sales and service channel, Green Alternative Systems (GAS) has partnered with ARBOC Specialty Vehicles to provide CNG fueling installations for the Spirit of Mobility low floor buses in the transit markets.  GAS is the largest commercial alternative fuel conversion company in the country, completing more than 1,000 installations last year.

Built on a GMC 3500 & 4500 chassis with a 6.0-liter, vortec V8 engine and a 54 GGE (Gas Gallon Equivalent) CNG fueling system, the ARBOC Specialty Vehicles shuttle bus has completed Federal Transit Administration’s New Model Bus Testing Program (“Altoona Testing”) and is certified for sale in all 50 states by the California Air Resources Board and Environmental Protection Agency.  

The ARBOC Specialty Vehicle, with the GAS extended range CNG fueling system, is readily available through a nationwide network of authorized dealers. The GAS fuel system delivers equivalent horsepower, torque and towing capacity compared to gasoline versions of the same models.
