Grace2Haiti Mission Team focuses on ABCs in Haiti

ST. PAUL, Minn. - May 3, 2013 - PRLog -- St. Paul, MN, May 1, 2013:  Members of Grace Lutheran Church of Andover, MN will spend the next 7 days on a mission trip in Haiti with local Christian humanitarian organization, World Wide Village, Inc. The team’s focus is on the ABCs of community enrichment: Agriculture, Building, and Children. During their time in Haiti, plans call for the team to construct a sustainable garden, helping Haitian families produce sufficient food for balanced diets as well as a viable source of income. They will also work on small building projects making repairs to homes in Lizon, a suburb in the north part of Port au Prince. Members of the team are looking forward to engaging with and spending time with the children of Haiti.

Grace Lutheran Church of Andover envisions sending at least two teams per year with World Wide Village, serving the people of Haiti while also gaining new appreciation for the comforts that come with being an American.
